SpiderMan S1E03 - The Return Of The Spider-Slayers
The Kingpin offers to provide Alistair with funds he requires to build more of Spencer's Spider-Slayer robots, claiming that Spider-Man is responsible for the death of his father. Alistair successfully rebuilds the Black Widow and creates another robot in which he names "the Tarantula". After the two Spider-Slayers capture Spider-Man, Alistair uses him to lure J. Jonah Jameson, whom he also considers responsible for Spencer's death. Alistair thus attaches a bomb to them both, before using the Spider-Slayers to target Flash Thompson, Eddie Brock, and Norman Osborn, all of whom he also considers responsible. However, Spider-Man escapes and detaches Jonah from the bomb, as well as saving Flash from the Black Widow, whilst Jonah notifies Norman of the Spider-Slayers. Having saved Norman and Brock, Spider-Man, as well as detaching the bomb from himself, destroys the two Spider-Slayers and a newly constructed "Scorpion" robot. Alistair's failure to destroy the wall-crawler gives him no option but to continue working for Kingpin until he does.
SpiderMan - S1E02 - The Spider-Slayers
In "The Spider Slayer," the Spider-Slayers being commissioned by Norman Osborn for hunting Spider-Man with Spencer Smythe at the controls. Unfortunately, the "Black Widow" Spider-Slayer was destroyed and the factory exploded with Spencer Smythe still in it. This culminated in Alistair Smythe working for the Kingpin when his father was presumed dead. In "Return of the Spider-Slayers," Alistair would go on to not only recreate the "Black Widow" Spider-Slayer, but also at the same time to unleash the "Tarantula" and "Scorpion" Spider-Slayers. In this depiction, the three Spider-Slayers could join together as a massive engine of destruction.
Spiderman S 01 E 01 - Night of the lizard
The episode opens with two subway repairmen in conversation. They are then attacked by an oversized lizard and one of them is kidnapped. Thus, Daily Bugle reports show mysterious disappearances throughout Manhattan and rumours of a giant lizard. Publisher J. Jonah Jameson (Edward Asner) subsequently offers a $1000 bonus to any photographer who can capture an image of the beast. Reporter Peter Parker (Christopher Daniel Barnes), despite originally considering the lizard rumours to be a hoax, plans to claim the reward in order to help pay off some of his Aunt May (Linda Gary)'s large debts. Peter subsequently makes his way to interview his science professor, Dr. Curt Connors (Joseph Campanella), a scientist in which works with reptiles. Whilst paying him a visit, he and fellow science student Debra Whitman (Liz Georges) witness the lizard in their teachers' lavatory. Peter then recalls an experiment he and Dr. Connors worked on which associated with the ability to re-grow mammal limbs using reptilian DNA. Peter furthermore suspects that his science professor is the Lizard. After a confrontation with the beast as Spider-Man (his alter-ego), he confirms this prediction when Curt's wife, Margaret, informs him that her husband was transformed whilst attempting to use his scientific technology to re-grow his arm in which he lost during war. Reporter Eddie Brock (Hank Azaria) eavesdrops on this conversation, leading to Spider-Man webbing him to a lamppost in order to prevent him from revealing the Lizard's identity to the Bugle. Dr. Connors then kidnaps his wife and takes her down into the sewer. He reveals his plan to use the Neogenic Recombinator to transform people of the city into creatures resembling himself. Spider-Man saves him from his condition, however, after firing him with the equipment. Once back at the Daily Bugle, Peter successfully claims the reward and gives the money to his aunt, whilst Eddie Brock is unable to prove the Dr. Connors is the Lizard.
